Trip Itenerary

Day 0: Air Travel to Oaxaca Airport

• Arrive at airport (flight from SLC, flight from LV)

• Transportation to accommodations in the heart of Colonial Oaxaca City center. (map)

• Get settled in, Dinner at nearby restaurants.

Day 1: Visit Monte Alban

• Morning transport to Monte Alban, the City of Nephi & temple complex. (map)

• Afternoon Lunch at the ruins.

• Evening. Travel back to Hotel, explore Cathedral, dinner at restaurant.

Day 2: Hierve De Agua

• Morning transport to Heirve de Agua likely Waters of Mormon. (map)

• Afternoon Lunch at the pools.

• Evening. Travel back to Hotel, visit archaeological sites of Mitla and Dainzú/Yagul on the way home.

• Dinner at the hotel

Day 3: Rest day at Beach:

• Transport (3hr) to beach resort at Puerto Escondido (map)

• Relax for the day at the beach.

• Those who wish can visit small ruins at Cerro de la Viega & Chat about the Land of First Inheritance.

Day 4: Fly Back to Teotihuacan/Mexico City:

• Spend a few last hours at the Beach (7am-10am)

• Transportation (15m) to Puerto Escondido Airport (map) & 1h25m flight to Mexico City ($45).

• Drive to hotel at San Juan Teotihuacan (45m - map). Get settled in, Dinner at nearby restaurants.

Day 5: Teotihuacan:

• Morning: Tour Teotihuacan 9am - Afternoon

• Lunch at 'La Gruta', exquisite dining in a cave associated with the archaeological site.

• Evening relaxing in Teotihuacan.

Day 6: Cholula Pyramid:

• Morning: quick breakfast near Teotihuacan.

• Late Morning: Drive to Cholula pyramid, ancient site of Zarahemla. (1hr45m - map)

• Spend day exploring the pyramid and museum.

• Drive back to hotel. (some may want to fly out this evening - map)

Day 7: Air Travel home

Those who didn't leave the evening before, transport to airport and fly home.
